Life in Transitions Program

Life in transitions (L.i.t.) Program

The learning objective of 10-steps is to teach young adults how to function independently on their own as they grow into adulthood. And while teaching them; support them as they make efforts to manage the various circumstances that life has to offer.

Our Life in Transitions program offers young adults the opportunity to empower and enrich their own lives as they learn to balance their mind, body, and spirit. We recognize that these personal skills are highly essential for them to become productive members of society. Although not all youth grow up in an environment where they are able to effectively and efficiently learn to stay healthy and develop stabilized relationships with others. These are moments when children lose out on an opportunities to learn more about themselves and how they function as individuals.

It is through the development of various fun-filled activities, assessments, and role-playing scenarios that each young adult will be able to successfully support themselves as they enter adulthood. Our program is designed to produce an efficient learning environment that teaches them to recognize and understand their strengths, interests, and needs.

We encourage each individual to learn to develop and set new goals through their involvement of each activity. Each participant will work with a variety of networks and resources to help and support themselves in achieving a higher level of daily functioning. They will have the opportunity to work on areas such as effective communication, relationships money management, career and educational learning, self-care, and much more.

As young adults grow up, they become examples of the society they were raised in, living in an era where they are unable to function independently on their own. This shines a light on the increasing apprehension on how several young adults are growing up without being taught to manage the various circumstances that life has to offer. So, we want to be supportive and encourage them to be more productive with their time and to not want them to rely on others to be responsible for taking care of their personal needs.
